How to earn Health Benefits

We are excited to offer our instructors healthcare benefits through Stride! We are the world’s only fitness platform that will help pay for your medical*, dental, and vision insurance coverage.

Stride Benefits: 

• Health Insurance: Stride will search through all of the Affordable Care Act health insurance plans available to you, check to see if you qualify for financial assistance, and help you choose the right plan. On average, Stride members save $360 per month on health insurance, and 40% pay less than $25 per month for coverage. You can get started here.
• Dental Insurance: Stride's plans start at just $30 per month, come with 2 checkups per year and are accepted at over 300,000 locations. You can learn more here.
• Vision Insurance: Stride's plans start at just $9 per month, covers $120 per year in eyewear, and is accepted at over 80,000 locations. You can learn more here.
• Life Insurance: Stride's plans start at just $5 per month, have flexible cancellation terms and you don't need to worry about any annoying phone calls. You can learn more here.

You can enroll in health insurance during the yearly Open Enrollment Period (OEP) on November 1st and ends on December 15th, 2022. But if you have what’s called a “qualifying life event,” you may be eligible for a “Special Enrollment Period” (SEP) which allows you to enroll or switch health insurance plans outside of Open Enrollment.

These Insurance Benefits are available to Instructors who are based in the United States and must reside in the United States to receive a reimbursement. 

How to qualify: 

If you enroll in one of our programs, we will reimburse you every month based on how much revenue you’ve generated in the previous 30 days. Your tier will be assessed with every payment.

Note: while all instructors may enroll in our plans, you must have at least $500 in trailing 30-day revenue to be eligible for reimbursement.

Getting set up: 

• Select your plan, get enrolled—all from the comfort of your phone or computer.
• Pay the premium for the plan you select
• Each month, submit proof of payment for your plan with this form
• If you qualify, we will reimburse you through a payout to your Stripe Connect account

We are happy to announce an add-on to our existing Instructor Benefits. In addition to Medical, Dental, and Vision, we are now offering Individual Professional and Liability Insurance policies through Insure Fitness Group or BeYogi!

All instructors are covered under Recess.tv's General Liability and Professional Liability Policy for all virtual and on-demand content. Our policy does not cover IRL events.
